Meet Aaron Berg: Comedian Bio, Comedy Clips, and Tour Dates
Aaron Berg is one of the funniest Canadian comedians on the rise. He is as dirty and quick-witted as it gets. Berg is originally from Toronto and
started his stand-up career at the famous Canadian comedy club named Yuk Yuk's. During his time as a headlining comic in Canada, he was nominated for two Canadian Comedy
Awards and won the 2007 College Comedian of the year award. With his popularity surging, Canada shortly became limiting to Aaron’s potential and he moved to New York
City. Aside from headlining across the world, he can now regularly be seen performing at most of the top comedy clubs in NYC, hosting his own podcast, and as a guest on
popular comedy podcasts like Legion of Skanks.
Aaron is an extremely dirty, dark, and funny comedian. He performs a style of comedy that will have you in tears from laughing or being offended. Berg knows his job as a
comedian is to push the limits to evoke laughter and has no fear in saying whatever he finds funny on stage. At the moment, Aaron is touring the country with
Luis J. Gomez, hosting one of the best comedy tours of the year entitled “The Offend Everyone Tour”. His unbelievably hilarious 2022 “crowd woke” special entitled “Stink”
is also available free on YouTube, showcasing Berg’s incredibly quick comedic mind and fearless mentality. You can watch it below.
Aaron also hosts his own unique and innovative podcast/show called
Berg’s Base. His
podcast is a fascinating mix of podcasting, a talk show, sketches, and segments. The podcast also features awesome guests including Anne Burrell, Jim Norton, Ryan Long,
Silvia Saige, Jamie Kilstein, and more. Those interested can check out episodes of the podcast below.
As discussed, an element of Aaron’s podcast Berg’s Base are sketches and segments. He starts most episodes with monologues that are actually comedic. Episodes regularly
end with hilarious “Carpool Road Rage” segments where he toys with NYC pedestrians from his car alongside Mike Figs. He’ll interview citizens of New York City with other
comedians like Dave Temple and Andre Myrie in a man on the street format. He also creates hilariously innovative sketches mixed with man on the street interviews called
Uncle A’s Kids. Uncle A’s Kids is a fake Nickelodeon show hosted by Aaron where he is joined by a comedian friend to assist him in educating the children by comedically
asking people questions in locations like Central Park. Those interested can view a few recent sketches and segments below.
