Anthony Townsend Named CrowdUltra Awards Top 5 Technology Speaker
Anthony Townsend has been named one of the top five technology speakers of 2022 by the CrowdUltra Awards. Anthony Townsend is “research director at the Institute for the Future, an independent research organization based in California’s Silicon Valley. His research focuses on the impact of new technology on cities, infrastructure and public institutions and the role of technology in economic development. Townsend additionally holds the post of senior research fellow at New York University’s Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management, where he is investigating the impacts of mobile information services and communications on travel behavior and long-term shifts in mobility demands in megacities, and the impacts of both trends on transportation planning and policy analysis. Townsend is actively involved in policy-making and economic development organizations around the world.”
