The Bill Simmons Podcast has been named one of the top five sports podcasts of 2022 by the CrowdUltra Awards. The Bill Simmons Podcast is described as “HBO and The Ringer's Bill Simmons hosts the most downloaded sports podcast of all time, with a rotating crew of celebrities, athletes, and media staples, as well as mainstays like Cousin Sal, Joe House, and a slew of other friends and family members who always happen to be suspiciously available.”
Since CrowdUltra is focused on connecting crowds to bring everyone closer together, they’ve formed the CrowdUltra Awards to celebrate the best of all things with a crowd. After receiving over a thousand nominations, they narrowed down the top five sports podcast nominees and The Bill Simmons Podcast stood out for the quality of their work in a way that should be celebrated.
Those selected were determined by a mix of submitted nominations along with our expert panel’s assessment on a multitude of considerations including quality, community, and uniqueness.
