Meet Colum Tyrrell: Comedian Bio, Comedy Clips, and Tour Dates
Colum Tyrrell is without doubt the funniest Irish comedian. He started his career in Ireland and quickly became known in the Irish comedy scene after being a finalist on
the “RTE New Comedy Awards”. Colum then had a standout performance at the Galway Comedy Festival, which led to getting booked at every comedy club and festival in Ireland.
With his popularity surging, Ireland shortly became limiting to Colum’s potential and he moved to New York City. Aside from touring the country, he can now regularly be
seen performing at The Stand comedy club, hosting his own podcast, and as a guest on popular comedy podcasts like Legion of Skanks, YKWD, and The Bonfire.
Colum is a brilliant and hilarious comic, largely performing a dark-style of comedy. He is not afraid to say things many other comics won’t, even if someone in the
audience is offended. His jokes are incredibly well-written, filled with politically incorrect topics, inappropriate observations, and top-notch misdirection. Below you
can view a recent stand-up clip, which may be the funniest and darkest abortion joke ever written.
Colum also hosts his own podcast, The Colum Tyrrell Podcast. His podcast is very funny and something any comedy podcast fan will enjoy. His podcast does not really have
a real theme. Most of the time it’s him talking about whatever is on his mind and topics he finds fascinating going on in pop culture. He also has guests on from time to
time including Ari Shaffir, Ryan Long, Josh Potter, Jeremiah Watkins, Zac Amico, the hosts of Are You Garbage, and members of Barstool Sports like Feitelberg. You can
view one of our favorite episodes of his podcast with Ari Shaffir below.
