Gilly And Keeves Is Funnier Than SNL & Back For Season 2
If you're a fan of comedy you've heard of what happened to Shane Gillis. He was hired then almost immediately fired from SNL. This was due to some lonely spiteful loser
writing a mudslinging article and NBC being scared cowards listening to a small minority. With the hopes of "cancelling" him, the opposite actually occurred and he rose
to become one of the hottest comedian podcasters in the world. Among hosting one of the biggest comedy podcasts
and releasing a comedy special with over five million views last year,
he is also one of the two brilliant minds behind the sketch comedy show funnier than SNL, Gilly and Keeves.
Gilly and Keeves released their first season of 12 episodes last year on YouTube. The show is written by John McKeever, a comedian turned show writer and producer who was
behind the hilarious Comedy Central show that did not get it’s fair due, Delco Proper (watch for free below). Shane Gillis is the face of the sketches and is joined by a
hilarious cast of Philly comics including Tim Butterly, Lemaire Lee, Matt McCusker, Ryan Shaner, Mike Rainey, and more. The cast and creators understand their job is to
provide laughs and are focused on funny over appeasing an agenda, something that’s been missing from sketch comedy shows for a long time now. The first season of the show
had almost 280,000 subscribers on YouTube and garnered over 12 million views. Their sketches covered funny and creative concepts like Donald Trump speed dating, a father
who lost his job now supporting his family on OnlyFans, and a daycare facility for your crazy uncle.
Season two is about to come out October 4th and will be released privately at https://gillyandkeeves.tv/. They
are doing two live special tapings including the premiere of season 2 at the Theatre of The Living Arts on August 19th. This is
a can't miss if you're a comedy fan in the area. You can count on this season being a step up from last, as funny as the first season was. They are improving production
along with hiring recognizable talent.
