New York Comedy Festival Named CrowdUltra Awards Top 5 Comedy Festival
New York Comedy Festival has been named one of the top five comedy festivals of 2022 by the CrowdUltra Awards. New York Comedy Festival is described as “200-plus comedians perform more than 100 shows throughout the City during the seven-day festival. Taking over venues around the City including Town Hall, Carolines on Broadway, the Beacon Theatre and Madison Square Garden, the New York Comedy Festival celebrates comedy in all its forms: live podcast recordings, panels, improv, film screenings and stand-up, hosted and performed by some of the biggest names in the industry.”
Since CrowdUltra is focused on connecting crowds to bring everyone closer together, they’ve formed the CrowdUltra Awards to celebrate the best of all things with a crowd. After receiving over a thousand nominations, they narrowed down the top five comedy festival nominees and New York Comedy Festival stood out for the quality of their work in a way that should be celebrated.
Those selected were determined by a mix of submitted nominations along with our expert panel’s assessment on a multitude of considerations including quality, community, and uniqueness.
