Ryan Long is one of the hottest Canadian comedians on the rise. He is a brilliant mind and truly an all around artist. Ryan has surprisingly only been doing comedy for about five years. He was first involved in ska punk music as the lead vocalist for The Johnstones from 2002 to 2012. After that, he then transitioned into creating and starring in his own hit Canadian digital series ‘Torontopia’ on CBC Comedy, 'THAT GUY' on CBC Comedy, and ‘Ryan Long is Challenged’ on BITE TV. In 2019 Ryan then immigrated to America with the 'Extraordinary Alien' Greencard, quickly becoming a household name in the New York comedy and podcast community.

Ryan is an extremely thoughtful, honest, and funny comedian. He performs a style of comedy that is filled with hilarious observations and quick-witted mockery. Ryan touches on subjects of all types such as politics, religion, social issues, and narrow-mindedness from various types of people. His 2022 special entitled “Ryan Long: White Immigrant” that is available free on YouTube with over a half-million views is in our opinion one of the best specials of the year. You can watch it below.

Aside from stand-up and what really fueled his stand-up, are his comedy sketches he puts out every Monday. He arguably currently puts out the best comedy sketches on the internet. They regularly go viral and have received hundreds of millions of views. Sketches surround absolutely hilarious topics like “When Wokes and Racists Actually Agree on Everything” and “When Your Mom Is A Feminist”. Ryan also releases very funny man on the street videos where he walks around New York City and asks people absurd questions such as “How do you close the OnlyFans wage gap” and “Is depression totally fake”. Those interested can view a recent sketch and man on the street video below.

Ryan also hosts his own podcast with Danny Polishchuk called The Boyscast. Ryan and Danny release episodes every Friday going through the wildest articles and discussing what’s on their mind. The podcast also features awesome guests from time to time including Tim Kennedy, Adam22, Martin Shkreli, and Ari Shaffir. Those interested can check out episodes of the podcast below.

We encourage comedy fans to support everything that Ryan Long is doing if you aren’t already. All of his content is hilarious, creative, and intelligent.
