Meet Zac Amico: Comedian Bio, Comedy Clips, and Tour Dates

Zac Amico is one of the most underrated comedians set to become a household name in the world of comedy. He may be the funniest and quick-witted person in comedy, which is something die-hard east coast comedy podcast fans will attest to. Aside from being hilarious, Zac is as unique and hard-working of a person you’ll come across. He is truly an enigmatic renaissance man whose talent goes far beyond comedy. Zac is involved in many different artistic pursuits including hosting his popular and unique comedy podcasts, performing comedy at The Stand in NYC along with touring the country with comedians like Luis J. Gomez and Aaron Berg, writing/film-making in the horror movie industry, as well as participating in pro wrestling.

Zac is as dirty and dark of a comedian as it gets, to the point where some comedy clubs will not hire him. He is also a top-notch joke writer not only for himself but also anonymously through the jokes he writes or helps improve for other high-quality comics. Zac performs a lot of longer-form jokes and tells stories on stage. Some bits will be longer than five minutes, which is not the norm for New York comics. While his stand-up is quite difficult to find online, we found a clip from his documentary you can view below. He also initially made a name for himself in comedy through roasts, which he may do better than anyone else out there and you can also see below.

Zac also hosts three hilarious and unique podcasts. He is most known for being the long time co-host of the Real Ass Podcast with Luis J. Gomez. Zac is consistently the funniest guy in the room and anyone who is part of RAP’s audience has had Zac make them cry from laughter. He also hosts his own highly innovative and interactive podcast entitled Zac’s Midnight Spook Show, which is a comedy watch along podcast where Zac and his friends watch a horror movie and hilariously discuss it. Zac lastly hosts Bi Guys, which is a funny podcast he also does on GaS Digital with the hilarious comedian Ian Fidance. Those interested can view recent episodes from his three podcasts below.

If you take a look at Zac, you’re likely to see his passion for horror. His first love far before comedy was horror movies. He has had a hand in writing, acting, producing, and directing with legendary indie film production company Troma. Zac has been involved with Troma movies including Shakespeare's Shit Storm, Return to Nuke 'Em High Volume 1 and 2, and Grindsploitation 3: Video Nasty. Those interested should check out Zac’s IMDB and Troma film appearances, as well as keep an eye out for future Troma events that Zac is often a part of. We have also embedded his own horror comedy cartoon series entitled Foolishly Ghoulish below.

While you wouldn’t think Zac could possibly be involved in more and still maintain a marriage on top of it, Zac is also involved in an entirely different industry he’s been passionate about since childhood. Zac participates as a pro wrestler and wrestling manager for independent wrestling organizations including Capital/Catalyst Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Magic. Those interested can see Zac featured many times on Catalyst Wrestling’s YouTube Channel and view an awesome deathmatch where he wrestled Jeff Cannonball below.

We encourage all comedy, horror, and wrestling fans to support Zac’s pursuits. He is an absolutely incredible one-of-a-kind human being that works harder than most and deserves far more recognition than he receives. Those interested should subscribe to RAP, Zac’s Midnight Spook Show, and Bi Guys.
